Having spent two glorious weeks on Topsail Island, NC with my children, grandchildren, my sisters and their children, I have returned to my computer with all the bells and whistles I've built into it over the years. Quote of the (first) week: when she heard that my sister didn't like the beach, my 5-year-old granddaughter replied, "That's astonishing!"

Good to have you back. Vacations, getting away, can
be so refreshing. We've struggled along, as you can
see. Sort of slow, must be summer. At any rate
welcome home.

It's good to be back. Vacationing is fun but getting back home is always as much fun.

Except when I found my desk covered with papers a foot higher than I left it.

And a crisis brewing. Hope that does not happen to you.

I've faithfully followed this site, but it is nice to "hear" your voice once more. Hope your fine-sounding vacation refreshed your energy so that you can re-tackle all of those words waiting to be discovered by the rest of us!
