Therein again lies the the problem of the pun. Caco played off of the first-person singular present tense (I [do something] of cogito. Anders' use of the the noun coitus emphasized the act itself, implying that the speaker's being is not a result of his own doing, which is reinforced even more by the third-person plural imperfect tense coibant. To return to Descartes' original premise, that the speaker is a result of his own action (thinking, for good ol' René), requires a return to the first-person singular present tense, coeo.

Still, there is no need for a one-size-fits-all philosophy. Celibates can (and do) exist even if they only cogitate about it! 8)

I think it's time to go home and look for some Jameson . . .
