It's so nice to see folks like Astokatastro back here, we're getting back to where we used to be, back in the original Agora.

BTW some of the links aren't working, in fact I can't access anything from :
http://www.alphadictionary.com/bb/searc ... d=newposts
or
http://www.alphadictionary.com/bb/searc ... =tenrecent
every time I try to click on a link from there I get something like this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: phpbb_rtrim() in /var/www/alphadictionary/dynamic_html/bb/viewtopic.php on line 498

Hi,

Sorry, I tried applying a security patch to the phpBB software and it decided to go horribly wrong. I think I skipped a version number or something. Anyway, I've just removed the supposedly insecure part (it had to do with highlighting search terms) and I'll get everything straightened out on Monday.

...to see several old Agoran friends on this strange new site. A site for sore ayes, I guess you could say. Greetings to anyone to whom they mean anything.

Hello, PW and welcome to the new forum ! Let me just echo Katy's sentiments above (there are, believe it or no, some things about which we are in (almost)total agreement, among them our desire to welcome old friends and correspondents to the site)....

I think we scared him off, at any rate as soon as he retires he and any razor known will part company......

Me too!

Postby DerekB » Sat Aug 13, 2005 7:45 am

I have finally got round to dipping into the Alpha site, haven't really had a lot of time for Agoring recently. Looks good and lots of familiar names.

Hi to those who remember me from the other place.

Derek

Note for self: Must make more time for this sort of thing.
