Seriously, my guess is that it's a parallel construction to my/mine, thy/thine, etc. The "n" sound at the end of pronouns has history in the possessives.

Oh, no doubt. And of course "mine/thine" can also be reached via "my one/thy one" as well.

I also cannot "embolden" a word using the B at the
top. I highlight, and press it, but the appears
in the text, and no emboldening of the highlighted
area. Slava told me to make sure the BCC button
is on "yes", and it is. I've cluttered her PM box
too much to press on: I feel guilty about bothering
her.

Luke, look for the "quote" box on the top right of each posted message. Click on that box for the message that you want to quote, and your write-a-message box will open up with the quote already in there. It will look all geeked up, because it is shown in html (hypertext mark-up language.) If you want to quote the whole message, just move your cursor to the end of everything you see, hit the "enter" key twice to put some space after the quote, and start typing.

It's more complicated if you only want to show part of the quote. I recommend experimenting when you're in your
write-a-message box. Try deleting part of the quoted text, and see what it looks like by using the "preview" button down at the bottom. Keep doing this until you get the hang of it.
