yes that is genuine.in Greece we call it greeklish something amoge greek and english.

Gailr, I found some examples on that fascinating list of words pretty frightening, e g,
sparagmos : ritualized tearing apart of a person prior to rebirth or renewal
until I noticed the qualifying adjective. What a relief - for a while I thought things had gotten entirely out of hand !...
