Prone

Postby Grogie » Wed Feb 14, 2007 3:38 pm

Most of us are familiar with the adjectival form of this word. Today I discovered that it,s also a noun. It,s a ''sermon or a short introduction to a sermon.''

Interesting word, grogie.

Although, I have seen people more prone to be supine during some sermons...

Usage:
The minister was prone to giving prones, instead of just getting to the sermon itself.
