we need a new font for good word

Postby nicklinneh » Tue Feb 27, 2007 12:03 pm

Good word is great.... if you can read it. The "a" and the "o" are too similar. "r" preceding "n" looks like "m". Italic accentuates the problem. (cf. today's good word, granular, where there are many references to corn, which looks like com.) A more book-like face would remove these ambiguities. Just a suggestion; I'll still keep reading (squinting). ---Ken

I don't have that problem with this application, but...
Hey Ken, why not make your page fonts from miniscule to medium? I realize you can't quite fit as many words per screen but it beats squinting. Chimps always squint but you don't need to.

Is this a joke? Much as I like new fonts, the present caste couldn't be clearer...

I'd have voted but I can't see what it says...
