since my word suggestrions don't seem to be well-liked here is another try
scads - a large number or amount; "made lots of new friends"; "she amassed a mountain of newspapers"
dozens, gobs, heaps, lashings, loads, lots, rafts, scores, slews, stacks, tons, wads, oodles, piles, mountain
large indefinite amount, large indefinite quantity - an indefinite quantity that is above the average in size or magnitude

Some words with "scads" in the definition:

Scads of piles would be rather uncomfortable.

In the game in which one is asked to respond immediately, without thinking, to one word with another, my guess is that the most frequent response to «scads» would be «money». Alas, having no experience, I don't really know....
