I've re-suggested some of these as individuals, but I'll leave the rest up to you folks now.

Then again, would Bob Cratchet be a scrivener?

And beadle (as a homonym) was used recently in a J. K. Rowling tie-in to the Harry Potter novels: the Tales of Beedle the Bard.
