prequel

I suggest this as a Word of the Day. Welcome it as a newcomer to our beloved language.
Prequel is a good choice for a Good Word. The Good Doctor could discuss word transmogrifications that have found a place in our language. Like sequels, prequels might leave something to be desired, especially if it is Star Wars.
