Apparently, well known to golfers, but used in a non-golf setting it also has a meaning - like when you used to cook in a big pot over a fire, the hook you hung the pot from is a cleek. But, any other uses?

It can also be a verb, meaning to grab quickly, snatch.

As to use, how about in a difficult crossword puzzle? :)
