Striate
From Latin, stria, for furrow. The PIE root is streig. I have found no other daughters of this root.

The root itself is used as a word, also. Does that count?
There is also striated, meaning the same thing as striate. This opens the door for a verb, to striate, no?
My spellcheck doesn't like striate, by the way. It works with the 'd'.
