Ok, maybe I missed something in this thread and maybe I'm stating the obvious, something you already know, but just in case, the term "harpoon" in Janis Joplin's song (also sung by Kris Kristopherson whose version I like better than Janis's) is slang for a harmonica. In Kris's version the name Bobby would probably carry the feminine spelling Bobbie.

I think three times is fine, for emphasis. Besides, it shows he's learning and Evolving. Now that he has that structure of knowledge, he can use it for something else. Before he wasn't able to quote even himself, now with any luck, he can quote who(m)ever he chooses.
