I don't know how much more can be extracted from this subject, but perhaps some may still be willing to give it a shot!

 That was impressive. I'm in awe of the linguistic knowledge and ability of the folks that frequent this site. I enjoy it, I'm glad I stumbled upon it!

So what shall we do? Simply grin and bear it?

I'd give up my eye-teeth for another good pun.

Maybe we bit off more than we can chew.

Thankfully there are some constants in this world. Just when we are about to gnash our teeth in frustion at running out of puns, Tim leaves us slack-jawed with 3 more worthy contributions!

My contributions would be rather feeble and mush-mouthed without much bite, so I hesitate to dive in with a full throated reply as I would just be scraping by compared to what has gone before. This thread has surely provided pearly white nuggets of punditry that I have enjoyed immensely.
I look forward to what will follow!

Thanks--not that I'm cynical or anything...

I think I have an up close and personal relationship with De La Lastra...

I'm just glad the hygiene of this thread has maintained its clinical nature. I have a feeling we're holding on by the skin of our teeth. It would be easy to let any long series of puns decay...
