Not at all! 'Talking like a pirate' is like not unlike 'talking Southern' (apologies as needed here, but this is even more entertaining among my friends than 'talking like a Southern Californian' or 'talking like The Queen'). Ye can't just be gettin' up one day spectin' t' have any proficiency; its an arrrrrt what requires dedication and practice, like t' scrapin' o' barnacles.

As farrrrr as rushin' t' holiday goes, it grieves me t' note that local stores started displayin' booty for Christmas pillagin' long before Pirate Talking Practice was just a gleam in me eye (or some phlegm in me throat) this year. :wink:
