The word nostos reminds me the word νόστιμος.
I'd like a tranclation better like:a sweet tasty pain.
And i liked very much the sort strory 'H Νοσταλγος' of Alexantros Papadiamantis.
I just came upon this thread, but this nostos reminds me of nostalgia, a sweet tasty pain.
