Oh and we were so hoping you'd visit, what a disappointment, we'll miss you.

Katy
Tks for the kind words, but you'd have to at least do some weeding out of Shrubs before I can imagine going in that direction. Why don't we meet in China or India instead?

Spaced-out.

Unfortunately, my brain cells cease to function when the temperature rises above 23.7°C (it's now about 32°C in the shade here.)

(Let me spare you the trouble, that's about 75 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit respectively.)

no trouble, there are charts for those of us (me) who are math impaired, I come from a long line of mathmaticsally indifferent people, i.e. artists. (I have conversion charts on desktop icons)

We are just now getting hot weather, heat isn't my favorite temperature in meteorologically speaking. but I love summer for gardening so......

Anyway glad to see you back Spiff.

Why, thank you, Katy, it's nice to be here too.

I haven't really been away, you know. Only I usually haven't got much time to post what I'd like to post.

And maybe you miss some of my posts by only checking the ten most recent posts?

speaking of heat it's our seventh (7th) straight day of plus 90 degree temperature, (you do the math, lol) and I'm so grateful for our air conditioner.
Oh and I miss very little. :?

We Brits, of course, are so good at arithmetic and algebra that we are brought up to speak of the discipline in the plural. To us, the singular suggests that one cannot count.

Double maths, anyone?

One math is quite enough for me.
In grade school I found it difficult to add and subtract I finally quit trying and put down any answer. It wasn't until I took an Electronics course (in my twenties) that I learned the basics. At the beginning of the course they tested math and reading, The reading was way too easy but I had to take a one book accelerated math course. It was supposed to take two weeks, I whipped thru' it in a few days and discovered the (hmmmm?) Joys of Algebra. all of a sudden a subject I cried all the way thru' in High School, MADE SENSE!
