-- Garzo. The food that I share with others
Is the food that nourishes me.
The strength I spend for others
Is the strength that I retain.
The freedom I seek for others
Will make me forever free.
The pain I ease in others
Works to take away my pain.
The affront I forgive in others
By GRACE is forgiven of me.
The truth I affirm in others
Rings true through all eternity.
The good that I see in others
My greatest good shall be.
The love that I feel for others
Comes back my life to cheer.
The load that I lift from others
Makes my load to disappear.
The path that I walk with others
Is the path GOD walks with me.

The Wiccan Rule of Three expands that a bit along with a little bit of Libertarian TANSTAAFL:Larry, exactly but do go on, The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Good news I'd say
Katy
Ever mind the Rule of Three
Three times what thou givest returns to thee
This lesson well, thou must learn
Thee only gets what thou dost earn!

Perhaps Tao is a bit of 未知の道 to you, BD. But the most common on-reading for michi is doo.Well, that is a michi to me, or tou if you stretch it.Not too bad, but the concept of 道 "dao" and adhering to it makes my life a lot easier than the "god" idea ever did.

A path that can be defined as a path is not a permanent path.
-- 道徳経一章
If there exists a permanent path and if adhering to it makes my life easier, I don't know.

Yes, poetic license, as Katy commented above; but ihas someone written a grammar of poetic license please? Even in poetry there are things you can do and things you can't. All right, I don't mean that; but things which, if you do them, no one will understand or like.I'd never seen make followed by a to-infinitive.The load that I lift from others
Makes my load to disappear.
