In a recent post we touched upon the topic of Brylcreem, a hair product for men. It had a well-remembered tag line: "A little dab'll do ya."

How many other truly famous lines or ideas can you recall?

"Plop, plop, fizz, fizz" is one of the biggest.

"Two all beef patties" etc. is another.

And, as the other thread got into hair removal: Burma Shave, perhaps the best of all.

I liked the Folger's commercials about The best thing about morning is Folgers in your cup. They're bringing it back, but the scenes so far don't match up to the old ones.

And then I loved the music for awhile in Coke - i want to teach the world to sing...

And who can forget snap, crackle, and POP!
