Peak Punctuation

Postby Slava » Tue Mar 25, 2014 5:51 pm

I gather the title is a take-off on the concept of peak oil. I do rather hope it is true, too much frivolous punctuation is annoying. I'd rather see it used properly.

"The Internet offers us nearly infinite space," - well, yes, but Twitter and many texts limit input to 140-160 characters at a time. And as one of the comments mentioned, many texters use no punctuation at all. BTW, the comments on the article about typewriters are worth the link. Thans, Slava.!?!
