I ran across these definitions while looking for some Latin resources:

Some Definitions
  • Foreign language: the funny way that foreigners talk
  • English Dialect: the funny way that other native speakers of English talk
  • Normal English: English as spoken by me
  • Dead language: speech so funny that it was laughed out of existence
  • Living language:what you call a dead language when speaking to a teacher of that language
