Postby Slava » Sun Aug 31, 2008 12:44 pm

As they say, America and England are two countries separated by a common language:

American Heritage Dictionary

hoard·ing (hôr'dĭng, hōr'-)
n.

1. A temporary wooden fence around a building or structure under construction or repair.
2. Chiefly British A billboard.

[Obsolete hoard, hourd, from French dialectal hourd, fence, scaffold, hurdle, from Old French, of Germanic origin.]
