Prevaricate as a consequence

Postby Dr. Goodword » Thu Feb 08, 2007 11:53 pm

To be exact, prevaricate is a verb so it cannot be a consequence (a noun). Prevarication is not the consequence of lying, either, in any sense I can see. How do you see it as the consequence of lying?

Gosh Doc, we answer a few of the threads and posts in scholarly earnest, and the next thing we know you start taking us seriously.

Perhaps you were in a postprandial state when you read the "postvaricate" quips.

I read these threads too late at night. I've got to start reading them in the morning.
