Need Translation from Latin

Postby brogine » Sun Jul 22, 2007 8:54 pm

Anyone understand Latin? I have an old Austrian coin with this inscription: DVODECIM LVSTRIS GLORIOSE PERACTIS. I've tried a number of resources and come up 'vacuus'. Thanks, Stephen

All I can think of is the five-year lustrum. That would make it mean "For sixty years gloriously accomplished". It might put it sixty years from the foundation of the Austrian Empire in 1804. That would be 1864, the time of Franz Joseph I.

Thank you! Well, that's about it. It's actually from 1908, the 60th anniversary of the reign of Franz Joseph.
Seeya, Stephen
