Weird words from the world of work

Postby sluggo » Mon May 19, 2008 10:57 pm

"This is my son (introduces son). He was an English major, but then he switched to business!"
This was answered with ...applause.

I got out of there fast.... :?

Try to avoid returning home with a pinstripe suit.

Only in the good sense :)

Actually that pinstripe suit image -going by old movies of course- brings to mind not bankers but gangsters. But Perry already said that.

Chimps never wear white ties, with or without the Dimple.
But if I leave the house with a pinstriped suit, I try to wear it home, no matter how hirsute I am.
