These [complex] are not rhyming compounds but they do share the rhythmical character of rhyming compounds.
Rhyming-shmiming.

Actually, he's a dog gone. We kept him for a week while our dog, Dudley (the Hound from Hell), was a "guest" of the trainer for a week to try to work our his anger management issues. The dog in the picture is a Perro de Presa Canario, although the trainer wasn't sure he was a purebred. He was cute but big, knee-high to my wife and completely filling my lap at only 9 weeks. He's since been placed by the same rescue org we got Dudley from. Some day I'll get around to replacing the photo. Considering how long as it's been up, you're the first one who commented on it!
