You have words - now what do you do with them?

Postby saparris » Thu Feb 11, 2010 6:00 pm

To Luke's post above:

You should both try: Find a thread, and each contribute
a line in iambic pentameter. Don't have a theme: just
contribute a line and see where it goes.

At least it would keep you busy.

I'll srart a thread and supply the first line. The format will be at the beginning of the post. Each poster will copy all existing lines, paste them into a reply, and add a line.

I'll have it ready by tomorrow.

I'll look after the Olympics opening. But with my
poetic ability, don't expect much.

It has to be iambic pentameter, yes??

I looked: a bit complicated for me: somwhat like
tab A into Slot B: and besides it requires thinking.
My brain is snowbound: but I shall follow and perhaps
in the process some synapse may awaken.

It was your idea. Maybe you should call Hire-a-Poet. They charge by the meter.

Go shovel snow.

Most of it is self-shoveling via the melt method.
