Group Poem Exercise VI

This time we will write a Christmas-themed poem of 16 lines, in iambic pentameter, rhyming ABABCDCDEFEFGHGH. The first line must include a one-letter word, the second line a two-letter word, and so on up to 16. These words (which can come anywhere in the line) should be shown in bold. As before, please copy the earlier lines when you post. Here are the title and first line:
