Sentimentality or vulgar, often pretentious bad taste, especially in the arts: "When money tries to buy beauty it tends to purchase a kind of courteous kitsch" (William H. Gass).
Whoever wants to know something about me - as an artist which alone is significant - they should look attentively at my pictures and there seek to recognise what I am and what I want.

In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie (#5) one might say that Dolores Umbridge's office was decorated in Kitten Kitsch.
