No, just more familiarity with the words of a firebrand of the American Revolution, Patrick Henry, and the ultimate line of his most famous speech.

I thought the original words were Give me liberty or give me death!

Uberty or dearth

I have always maintained, "Give me lottery or give me dearth" and have become accustomed to the latter.
