Yup, that is what I mean.
A newspaper reporter goes out and gets the story, but
the headline is the property of someone higher up:
hence "meta", copy editor, I suppose would be the title.

I never thought of the tech pubs of my experience as being meta-anything.
It is dark at night, but the Sun will come up and then we can see.
