Andrew you really screwed things up. Sorry, for the curt report, but since you cannot answer
a PM, what good are you.
Doc - get a new computer expert.

I'd say there might be something wrong on my end: but since everything
was working fine before Andrew, I won't buy that explanation. It is your fault Andrew.

Easy Luke. I used to program a bit and it can be very frustrating.
He also said he would fix it on the weekend, so I expect he has a day job.
Everybody just hang in there and all will be well again.

Let us pray, or hope, or beg.

In the meantime, just what does the dark blue dot in the upper left of the message icons mean? It's not in the list at the bottom of the page. I'm guessing it means the person on line has commented in that thread, but I'm not sure.

And, while the "upgrade" was exceedingly poorly executed, I do have to support Perry in his support of Andrew. He's been the only web-ster since this site's inception, as far as I know. I'm willing to cut some slack here, but I'll still pile on with the gripes, as need be.

Let's face it, major changes are usually tested (vetted) before going live.

slava, I sent you a PM today. I wonder if you got it.
Andrew, would you like the phone number of the 10 year old next door who is
very computer savvy? He could probably fix this in, say, 5 minutes.

You deserve this attitude from me since you neither responded to my PM nor
even acknowleged you received it.

Perry and Slava, I see you posted something above my post here, but it is
just a blank, I hope it has some useful info in it.

Hi,

You never answered my question about which browser you are using. I'm seeing avatars and posts across all the browsers that I'm able to test with, even when I'm not logged in. The biggest help would be a screenshot.

Anything that's e-mail based might be shaky for a while since we transferred servers. We're going to need to set up (and pay for) a third-party email service, and they don't let you send out full-volume emails until you've proven that you're not a spammer.

I was just ready to sign off Alpha, when I see another
post from ashaffer. I certainly hope it is suggestions or
hope for the group, since I cannot read what he or
anyone else post: the post is blank.

Luck to all!

No improvements.
I had a friend 'clean the cache' or whatever you all are calling it, and
the posts are still "green".

I received an email from saparris, who writes poems on Res Diversae
with audiendus: his comment:

I just took another look at the Alpha Agora site and noticed some more changes. My background is now green instead of blue, and several of the comments on the upgrade thread indicate forward motion. Who knows why they changed it in the first place, but it seems to be getting back on track. I hope so, because of contacted Audiendus about another poem, which we will begin late today or early tomorrow.
