Velleity

Postby Slava » Sat Sep 08, 2012 12:24 am

The weakest of desires or volition. A wish to see something done, without the push to do it. I must say, I'm having a hard time coming up with examples of how to use this one. Anyone care to overcome their lassitude and pitch in?
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.

I guess I got trapped in the idea that we can't look up older posts at the moment and forgot to try.
It's still a great word that deserves to be dissected by the Good Doctor, don't you agree?
