Ever heard of antabus? The reaction of the body is very similar.
Oh. Disulfiram. Uh, no thanks, I'll take a pass on that. Thanks for the tip! Caffeine withdrawal is bad enough! :) And that would sorely interfere with my completing my World Beer Club passport!

I would never board such a vehicle knowing that I would sooner or later feel inexplicable formication.

Well, close but you're off by one methyl group (CH[sub]3[/sub]) and a hydroxyl group (OH).

All mushrooms are edible. But some of them only once.

I'm reminded of a book I never read but saw in the science library at college lo these many years ago. It sounded like a bad sci-fi movie: The Advance of the Fungi! :) It does sound like an interesting read, though.
Critically acclaimed by sententious critics with two caps up, and coming soon to a dank and darkened theatre near you, The Advance of the Fungi continues the epic saga begun in Mushroom Wars. May the fungus be with you.

I hate mushrooms, all kinds. They're evil.

Aw, Gail, you missed a chance to have the farce be with you:
May the fungus be among us.
Pepperoni pizza is the standard for me, but I'll eat one with just about any standard topping, including anchovies.

Mimus vobiscum!
