Aghast

Postby Slava » Fri Jul 19, 2013 12:52 pm

I'm aghast at the ghastly absence of this word from our list. Does it stand a ghost of a chance of making the grade? I, obviously, hope so.

Aghast is etymologically kin to ghost. I am past being aghast at things that transpire. I am more boggled.
