As a pronunciation of "once". As in "I did that onct." This from another of my relatives.

Ah, see, I would have spelt that oncet, but either way it's a mess to try to decipher on paper how it's really pronounced ('wunst'). If I remember correctly, it appears in this form mostly when it occurs at the end of the phrase or sentence.

I had no idea how to spell it. I was going for phonetic of sorts. "Wunst" would be how she said it.
