frosting vs. icing... two different things!
Question 12 on the Rebel/Yankee test has me a bit irked... to me, frosting is thick and creamy, while icing is particularly sugary, glossy, and usually quite thin. Is noting the difference between the two a west-coast thing, or am I just picky?
38% Dixie... not bad for somebody from the other side of the country

Denoting a difference can be a personal thing, probably. I bet there are people who think of frosting as the light sugary topping (like frost on the ground), and icing as the thicker topping...
I use them interchangeably.
