proselyting

Postby anwang » Thu May 18, 2006 6:00 pm

WEll, I'm not an english major so that means I have a dumb question. proselyte is a noun I've found out. I thought missionaries proselyted and that a person could be proselyting. Is this also a verb? Can it be used as a verb? Someone please help.

A proselyte or convert is a result of the act to proselytise. Missionaries practise proselytisation or conversion.
