ACCESS ROAD/SERVICE ROAD

Postby christinerodie » Wed Jun 07, 2006 5:36 pm

I am from southern Missouri and we do not call it access road/service road. We call it an outer road.

There's another thread on this under the Reb/Yank subheading "missing links and suggested additions". Point was made that for where many of us grew up there was no such thing, as roads were not built that way -which led to the need for "none of the above" on the test.

As far as I remember though, "Outer Road" is a new term in the topic.

Welcome a-board Christine!
Stop! Murder us not, tonsured rumpots! Knife no one, fink!
