OOh! The Doc Himself! I wonder if we'll get to hear some Russian spoken with a Southern drawl while he's on the air?

Well I NEVER!
Loved the show, but really!!! To say that no one west of Ohio has a noticable accent!!?? I'm from South Dakota and I can tell you that my Scandanavian cousins in the Dakotas and Minnesota take extreme umbrage! Especially as to the question of whether or not "route" rhymes with "root" or "foot." We ALL know route ryhmes with boot while root is pronounced like roof!

thanks, I found that page before but overlooked the
'listen' link. I enjoyed the show, and it's as I've always said, I really have no accent, mine is pure and is as easy to understand as possible.

I can't get the feed
(Sometimes a tech type will suggest you use a router on a computer system. Why they want us to bore holes in there?)

I just listenend to the doc's interview. Why so short
Contrary to what I thought, the doc sounds like a very nice guy. I always imagined him much more serious. Don't ask me why.

I had downloaded Windows Media Player 11 (I think) and thought that might help me listen to the radio show, and it did!

The mac just looked at me blankly, but the pc downloaded the interview on the first try. (Mac, love, you're killing me, here...)
The interview segments are often short, unless the person is a well-known pop icon or political figure. It was good exposure for the alphaDictionary, though. I also noted the reference to "Mr. Beard"...

Scandalacious! He's a well-known icon 'round these parts, though I'd hesitate to call him "Pop".
