Now THIS is a good word. There is so much to like about it. Its ancient origin. Its full range of meaning. The way it rolls off the tongue. Solicitous. I have vowed to use this word more often after hearing my daughter use it this past weekend. Which proves that it IS possible to learn from our children.

Hmm... . I've seen "No Soliciting" signs before, and understand them. Would a "No Solicitation" sign mean the same thing?

In Britain, should one not wish to have a solicitous solicitor when accused of solicitation? But, then again, wouldn't the solicitor be solicitating against the charge of solicitation, and thus be guilty of solicitation?
