This sand-glass or hour-glass was made that some of the grains of sand would take a certain time (say an hour) to fall from one vessel into another.
From the beginning from where it all started and people realized the importance of time till now into the supersonic age of the 21st century watches and its concept has undergone a revolutionary change. Watches in earlier days were used by chosen influential few but now it has become a part of dress code.
