Hear It!

paint

Which Means:

A colored liquid that can be applied to surfaces for decoration or protection.

As In:

Image The artist will choose her color of paint to design the poster for the party.

Heads Up!

The word 'paint' is a mass noun (meaning you can't count it), so if you want to describe this picture, you should say 'several tubs of paint', or 'several colors of paint'.

stamp

Which Means:

To bring the foot down hard and quickly onto the ground, to stomp.

As In:

Image When Sweeny comes in from the snowy outdoors, he will stamp the snow off his boots.

Heads Up!

Another synonym for 'stamp' is 'stomp'.

swing

Which Means:

To move back and forth or side to side; to wave or sway.

As In:

Image You have to watch out when Mack walks because of the way he likes to swing his arms.

Heads Up!

A 'swing' can also be a noun that is a type of chair hanging from ropes that you can swing in.

trunk

Which Means:

The sturdy stem or main body of a tree from which its branches grow.

As In:

Image The tree trunk stood tall and strong.

Heads Up!

In 'trunk' you will find the NK blend.

Hear It!

husband

Which Means:

A married man, a man who has a wife.

As In:

Image The man and woman got married, making them husband and wife.

Heads Up!

The word 'husband' ends on the ND blend.
