Which Means:

More than just good, of higher quality or excellence.

As In:

Image The vampire needed a better watch so he knew when he should go to bed!

It would be better if you included two Ts!

Which Means:

The number 100, or 10 times (multiplied) by 10.

As In:

Image Sammy did one hundred pushups every other day.

Heads Up!

Sometimes people say "hunnerd", but really it is spelled and pronounced 'hundred'.

subject

Which Means:

The main topic that is discussed, written about, or studied.

As In:

Image The subject of Ray's report is the human heart.

Heads Up!

The verb 'subject' means to be under the influence of: The students were subject to homework assignments. The verb has stress on the second syllable.

practice

Which Means:

Consistent effort made to become better at something.

As In:

Image Piggie made the promise to practice her writing every day.

Heads Up!

When C is followed by E, I or Y, it says S as in 'cent'. Otherwise, it says K as in 'cartoon'.

similar

Which Means:

Nearly or almost the same, in a general way.

As In:

Image Alfred's wings are similar to the statue's wings!

Heads Up!

Be careful to spell 'similar' with an -AR.
