Which Means:

As In:

Image The snake preserved in this jar is a specimen in the science classroom.

Heads Up!

Use a soft C in the middle of 'specimen' even though it sounds just like the S at the beginning.

To go before in time or place.

As In:

Image Brushing teeth will precede bedtime.

Heads Up!

Only Es are the vowels in this word.
