Hear It!

sparkle

Which Means:

To shine with small flashes of glittering light.

As In:

Image Shawn likes to polish the car and make it sparkle inside and out.

Heads Up!

Remember after the 'spark' comes an LE.

Hear It!

cyclone

Which Means:

A large weather system with rotating winds around a calm center that usually develops over oceans and may produce violent storms.

As In:

Image The cyclone remained out over the ocean and did not come to shore.

Heads Up!

When a C is followed by an E, I, or Y, it has an S sound, as in 'cent' and 'cyclone'.

Hear It!

tollbooth

Which Means:

A small room along a bridge, entrance, or road where money is collected to enter or pass through.

As In:

Image Bert paid the fee due at the tollbooth.

Heads Up!

Remember to collect three Os and two Ls in 'tollbooth'!

Hear It!

sprinkle

Which Means:

To scatter or spread around lightly in small amounts or drops.

As In:

Image Dwayne likes to sprinkle salt onto the chicken as he cooks it.

Heads Up!

An LE comes at the end of 'sprinkle'.

Hear It!

pandiculate

Which Means:

To fully stretch the entire body, usually when yawing.

As In:

Image Matty Squirrel likes to pandiculate after every nap, the stretch reaching the tips of his fingers and toes.

Heads Up!

Imagine a panda pandiculating!
