Which Means:

The number of any one thing made at one time.

As In:

Image The boy was waiting for the batch of cookies to cool so he could eat one. YUM.

The digraph CH in 'batch' has the CHA sound.

Which Means:

To cause to destroy or tear down.

As In:

Image The dog didn't mean to wreck the boy's homework; he was just having fun!

As In:
