gallon We are out of milk; would you run to the store and get a gallon?
pound One record shows that a girl ate a 5-pound hamburger in one hour!
gram A US nickel weighs 5 grams.
mass A cannonball has more mass than a balloon even though they are the same size.
ounce Please give me 6 _ounces_ of turkey.
pint I only need one pint of milk for this recipe.
measure Double measure how long the board should be before you cut the wood.
scale At the grocery store, you can use the scale to see how much your vegetables weigh.
decade If I was 15 years old two decades ago, how old am I now?
meter The Tyrannosaurus rex was several meters long and tall, and weighed 5-7 tons.
