Hey, Kids! This week you will learn about homonyms - these are words that are spelled or pronounced the same but have different meanings. They can be tricky!
Today's Words Are:
affect Which Means: To have influence on something. As In: What can you do to affect the environment in a positive way? Heads Up! This verb means to have an effect but it is not spelled like effect!	effect Which Means: The result of an action. As In: What effect did the speech have on you? Heads Up! Do not confuse this verb with 'affect', which we also had today. An effect is the what happened because something influenced it.
