G always sounds like "guh" in front of consonants, A, O, and U. Before E and I it usually sounds like J.

Which Means:

A measure of how much stuff or thickness something has in it.

As In:

Image A cannonball has more mass than a balloon even though they are the same size.

Heads Up!

Don't forget this word has two Ss and the ending is -es for more than one: three masses.
